I have a confession to make in today’s blog post. Ready? Here it goes– I love what I do.
How many people can say that they truly love their work? How many people are doing the work that they know they are destined to do in their heart of hearts?
It wasn’t until I discovered integrative healthcare that I finally was able to experience a deep sense of connection. I felt this is my life calling. The reason I bring this up is because I see that many of my patients are not doing work that they love.. and I think this is a MAJOR reason why their health is less than optimal.
How about you? Do you feel uplifted, inspired, and fully engaged going to work every day? Or does your work leave you feeling depleted, anxious, bored, or empty in your life? It’s generally going to be one or the other, right?
What I want to suggest to you is this: If you’re not doing what you love, life is too short to tolerate this for any lengthy period of time. You deserve more than this. Even more so, until your work aligns with your deeper purpose and values, your health will NEVER be at the level you want it to be. You can eat all of the organic food, get all of the exercise, and do all of the stress reduction techniques you want– if you’re not passionate about your daily work, there will always be a hole in the foundation of your health.
A big reason why I love what I do is that I’m in a position to help people like you really take control of their health and life on all levels. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my patients make lifestyle changes that empower them and lead to more fulfillment and well-being. This IS possible for you! Give me a call if you’d like to discuss how I can help you in this regard.
